Downtown Disney: Circus of the Sun

At the west end of Downtown Disney, a large silver tent showcases Cirque du Soleil’s “La Nouba.” For those who’ve always wondered, translated to English, Cirque du Soleil means “Circus of the Sun.” Disney and Cirque du Soleil work beautifully together, as they’re vibrant, colorful, energetic, and bring fairytales to life.

Six of the eight current Disney Vacation Club resorts have members who assemble to see Cirque du Soleil each year. “La Nouba” (much like Disney) never ceases to disappoint its audience with the introduction of something new each time you see the show. You can’t help but marvel over the 90 minute flawless act!

La Nouba discounts are continuously offered to Disney Vacation Club members which makes membership to DVC a giant perk. Unfortunately, Cirque du Soleil performances are not cheap, so discounts are graciously embraced by Disney Vacation Club members.

Whether you take advantage of seeing La Nouba or you opt to experience fine dining, other forms of live entertainment and shopping, you’ll never run out of things to do in Downtown Disney. The area has become a very hip culturally diverse paradise that offers something to everyone.

Disney Dream Adventure

Since the Mickey Mouse Club and the opening of Disney World, we’ve all had Disney dreams. With the expansion of Disney Vacation Club resorts in recent years, these dreams can become adventures and memories for your family to treasure for a lifetime.

Where will you experience your Disney adventure, what will you do? You can partake in African Safaris where lions, elephants, warthogs, zebras, and cheetahs roam the Tarangire National Park. Disney Vacation Club members who stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas resort are so close and convenient to everything!

Perhaps you’re planning a more relaxing Disney Adventure, like an Alaskan cruise. Unfortunately, there aren’t any Disney Vacation Club resorts in Alaska, but DVC points can be used towards a memorable cruise on the glacier-clad shores of Alaska. Imagine marveling over the beautiful scenery and snow-capped mountains.

Maybe you’re not looking for an adventure at all, but rather a getaway, a place to rekindle the magic. Disney’s Beach Club Villas is a gorgeous Disney Vacation Club resort which captures romance, elegance, and the convenience of being close to Epcot Center and MGM Studios. Disney truly is the magic that dreams are made of.
